Cookies (Basic Dough) Recipe

2 1/4 cups of flour

1 tsp salt

1 tsp baking soda

*combine these into small bowl, separate from ingredients below

Mix with a mixer, following ingredients:

1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened (NOT melted)

3/4 cup packed brown sugar (I prefer light brown sugar)

3/4 cup granulated sugar

2 eggs–add eggs one at a time

1 tsp vanilla extract

1) mix ingredients together

2) once blended well, add flour/salt/baking soda in little by little and keep mixing it until well blended

3) Add half a bag of chocolate chips, half a bag of white chocolate chips and mix into mix (although in my case, I’m partial to white chocolate chips, peanut butter chips and toffee bits. This batter is basic, but you can add any type of candy or chocolate to it that you like)

4) Using a spoon, roll small balls onto cookie sheet

5) cook at 375 degrees for 7-9 minutes, or until brown
